The Weekend Certificate in Spiritual Formation provides renewal for lay persons and clergy through study, prayer, and reflection in community. Sponsored by Columbia Theological Seminary, this program consists of four parts:

Though similar in context to our established week-long program, this weekend schedule offers a different option for those wishing to pursue the Certificate in Spiritual Formation.
The Immersion Experience Weekend serves as an introduction to the Certificate in Spiritual Formation. program This weekend course is also designed to help participants examine the formative elements in Biblical Spirituality, Monastic Spirituality, and Reformed Spirituality. During small group gatherings, individuals consider the lectures and readings in a prayerful manner while seeking to find connections to their own lives and leadership within the church. Through guided journaling sessions, participants seek to discover how their own journey of faith has been formed.
Weekend courses begin on Thursday evenings with a lecture, community meal and worship. Friday and Saturday are full days of study and prayer. The course continues through late Sunday afternoon.
This program is open to both lay persons and clergy. It is grounded in the experience of God while focused on the renewal of the Church and its mission today.
